Using A cast on a multiple of 8 stitches plus an additional eight.

Row 2: P4A, * 1C,1A,1B,5A,rep from * to last 4 stitches, K1C,1A,1B,1A.
Row 3: *K1A,1B,1A,5C,rep from * to end.
Row 4: P1C,5A, 1B,1A,rep from * to end.
Row 5: K1A,5B,1A,1C, repeat from * to end.
Row 6: P1C,1A,1B,5A,repeat from * to end.
Row 7: K4C, * 1A,1B,1A,5C,repeat from * to last 4 stitches,K1A,1B,1A,1C.
Row 8: P2A,*1B,1A,1C,5A,repeat from * to last 6 stitches,K1B, 1A,1C,3A.
