Self Patterning Yarns
Self Patterning Yarns are a great and simple way to create some wonderful looking garments. They take all the hard work out of colour knitting and avoid the problem and tangle of colour changes.
These cleverly dyed yarns are designed to produce repeat patterns, some favouring Fair Isle patterns, some more random and some stripes. As far back as the fifties such yarns were produced to simulate Argyle patterning in socks but today the art has been taken much further with the use of spray dyes with the result of some wonderful effects.
Here we are please do be able to offer three examples of these wonderful yarns, Alize Motif by Alize Yarns, Crazy Color by YarnArt and Sockwool Prime by Performance Yarns. They are all yarns of the best quality, at very reasonable prices and I hope that you enjoy working with them.
