The Honeycomb Cluster stitch is a crochet stitch which makes a nice bold raised pattern producing a firm fabric. Begin with a multiple of 3 stitches ( add 1 for foundation chain.)
Special Stitch-CL (cluster): 5 trebles together, all worked into same stitch.
Row 1: 1 DC in 2nd. ch from hook, 1 DC in each ch to end, turn.
Row 2: 1 CH, 1 DC in each of first 2 dc,* 1 CL in next dc,1 DC in each of next 2 dc, repeat from * ending 1 CL in last dc, turn.
Row 3: 1 CH, * 1 DC in cl,1 DC in each of next 2 dc, repeat from * to end, turn.
Row 4: 1 CH 1 Cl in 1st dc, * 1 DC in each of next 2 dc,1 CL in next dc, repeat from * ending 1 Dc in each of last 2 dc, turn.
Row 5: 1 CH, 1 DC in first dc,1 DC in next dc, * 1 Dc in cl,1 DC in each of next 2 dc, repeat from * ending in 1 DC in last cl, turn.
Repeat rows 2-5 for required length.
