1, With wrong side facing work to the position of the required buttonhole loop, place a stitch marker in the last stitch and then work a few more stitches, ( 6 sts. in illustration) Make a chain long enough to go over the button, taking into account that the loop will stretch slightly. Slip the yarn loop from the hook and thread the hook through the marked stitch from front to back.Place the loop back on the hook and draw through the stitch. 2,Insert the hook back through the same stitch. Wrap the yarn around the hook and draw through to the front. |
