Broken Lacy Diagonals
The Broken Lacy Diagonals Knitting Stitch is a nice easy lacy stitch for you to master. It looks effective worked in cotton for a summer top or could be used in a mohair pattern were the fluffy yarn will make it less see through.
Cast on a multiple of 12 stitches plus 14 sts.
Row 1, *[yf,k2 tog]twice,K8 rep from * to last st. K1.
Row 2, and every alt row P to end
Row 3, *K2,[yf,K2 tog] twice, K8 rep from * to end.
Row 5,* K3,[yf,K2 tog] twice, K8 rep from * to last 11 sts.[yf,K2 tog] twice,K7.
Row 7, *K4,[yf,K2 tog] twice, K8 rep from * to last 10 sts.[yf,K2 tog] twice,K6.
Row 9, K to end.
