How to work Kitchener StitchInvisible Kitchener Stitch Seam

Kitchener Stitch is a very useful way of grafting your knitting when you want a nice flat invisible seam such as for socks, hoods, hats etc.

It is worked with "live" stitches divided equally between 2 needles. A blunt ended  needle and matching thread  are then used to effectively make the Kitchener Stitch imitate the knitted fabric

1, Divide the stitches to be joined equally between 2 needles and hold them parallel to each other. Working with a tail of yarn, preferably from the back piece, thread it onto a blunt ended needle .
